Walmart Connect

Walmart Sponsored Products management.

Walmart Sponsored Products management for 1P suppliers and 3P marketplace sellers, run by an ex-Amazon account manager. A flat monthly fee, never a percentage of your ad spend.

Walmart is not Amazon with a different logo.

Most brands copy their Amazon setup onto Walmart and wonder why it doesn't work. The auction, the reporting, the attribution window and the way shoppers search are all different. Walmart also gives you far less data and far fewer levers, so every decision has to count.

What usually goes wrong on Walmart accounts:

  • Automatic campaigns doing all the work. Spend spreads across searches that will never convert, and nobody moves the winners into manual campaigns.
  • Products bidding against each other. Several items compete for the same search, so you pay more for clicks you would have got anyway.
  • No negatives. Irrelevant searches keep spending week after week.
  • Bids set once and left. No one checks placement or item-level returns, so budget runs out early on the wrong products.

What I do on your Walmart account

  • Structure. Separate automatic campaigns for discovery from manual campaigns for the searches that already convert, so each one has one job and its own budget.
  • Search terms. Weekly review of what shoppers actually searched. Converting terms move to exact match with their own bid. Wasted terms become negatives.
  • Bids and placements. Bids set from your margins, then adjusted by placement and by item, so budget goes where it returns.
  • Item selection. Ads only on items with stock, competitive prices and listings that can convert. Advertising a weak listing only buys expensive clicks.
  • Sponsored Brands and display. Added where your catalog and budget support them, not by default.
  • Reporting. A short weekly note: what changed, why, and what it did to sales, ROAS and TACoS.

Recent result

A US golf brand on Walmart

The account came in with ROAS under 0.5x and TACoS around 30%. After rebuilding the structure, cutting waste and moving the converting searches into their own campaigns:

  • ROAS from under 0.5x to 3.3x at peak, holding between 2x and 3.3x since.
  • Monthly sales up 6x within four months.
  • TACoS down from about 30% to 11–15%.
